VJ Luci

Born in Gijón, Spain, VJ Luci is a visual artist whose practice spans live video performance, projection mapping, and immersive media.

She first gained recognition in Tokyo, where she became a resident VJ at the city’s largest clubs: ageHa, WOMB, and Asia, creating real-time visuals for international DJs and performers.

Her work expanded into fashion shows, concerts, and music videos, blending glitch aesthetics with cinematic storytelling.

In 2012, she founded Visionica Tokyo, a platform for projection mapping and visual design, which earned her the Tokyo Mapping Award.

After a decade in Japan’s nightlife and art scene, she relocated to Dubai, where she continues to develop multidisciplinary projects. In 2024, she launched Dubai 80s, a radio station and art project that reimagines Gulf heritage through neon, pastel, and retro-futurist visuals.

ペイン・ヒホン出身のVJ LUCIは、ライブ映像パフォーマンス、プロジェクションマッピング、イマーシブメディアを横断するビジュアルアーティストです。

東京でキャリアを築き、ageHa、WOMB、Asiaといった同市最大のクラブでレジデントVJを務め、世界的なDJやパフォーマーのためにリアルタイム映像を制作しました。その活動はファッションショー、コンサート、ミュージックビデオへと広がり、グリッチ美学とシネマティックなストーリーテリングを融合させています。

2012年には、プロジェクションマッピングと映像デザインのためのプラットフォーム「Visionica Tokyo」を設立し、東京マッピングアワードを受賞しました。

日本での10年間のナイトライフおよびアートシーンでの活動を経て、現在はドバイを拠点に多分野のプロジェクトを展開しています。

2024年には、ネオン、パステル、レトロフューチャーの視覚表現を通して湾岸のヘリテージを再解釈するアートプロジェクト兼ラジオステーション「Dubai 80s」を立ち上げました。

Née à Gijón, en Espagne, VJ Luci est une artiste visuelle dont la pratique englobe la performance vidéo en direct, le mapping vidéo et les médias immersifs.

Elle s'est d'abord fait connaître à Tokyo, où elle est devenue VJ résidente dans les plus grands clubs de la ville : ageHa, WOMB et Asia, créant des visuels en temps réel pour des DJs et des artistes internationaux.

Son travail s'est ensuite étendu aux défilés de mode, aux concerts et aux clips musicaux, mêlant esthétique glitch et narration cinématographique.

En 2012, elle a fondé Visionica Tokyo, une plateforme dédiée au mapping vidéo et au design visuel, qui lui a valu le Tokyo Mapping Award.

Après une décennie passée dans le milieu artistique et nocturne japonais, elle s'est installée à Dubaï, où elle poursuit le développement de projets multidisciplinaires. En 2024, elle a lancé Dubai 80s, une station de radio et un projet artistique qui réinterprète le patrimoine du Golfe à travers des visuels néon, pastel et rétro-futuristes.
